Wired writer James Lee stopped by in Tokyo for just a few hours on October 31st, so we decided to make the most of our precious time by taking Halloween-themed
Purikura (sticker pictures) and carefully decorating his nipples with stars and writing "I Heart Poo" on his makeshift school notebook. James even added a Japanese ghost blowing a flame into his crotch on the graveyard-themed backdrop. But the masterpieces we worked on most meticulously ended up being crammed into the bottom right corner as mini-prints.
Still.
Purikura have become so much more complex since my high school days, back when you didn't have the option of enhancing your skin tone, removing blemishes, and putting mushrooms on your head.
It's much more entertaining this way.
