Magic retro pudding
This is the cream of the Japanese PURIN crop, if only because it promises to be both magic and retro. Japanese purin is nothing like that Jell-o shit they sell at American supermarkets. The French flan is its closest cousin, yet it doesn't even come close in buoyancy and sheer deliciousness. This particular PURIN has been #1 on the Yahoo! Shopping Purin Top Ten List since March. They're 294 yen each.

Maybe this is better than french flan (I doubt it but heh, i am French :) ), now if one wants to export it to France they'd better think of a better name than "PURIN"...
